Average Public Employee Pensions
California’s retired public employees receive an average pension of less than $2,000 per month. These public servants are cops, firefighters, teachers, engineers and scientists, and many others who serve you, the public. Now some politicians want to cut those pensions in half. Less that $2,000 per month for a life time of public service… that’s not much to live on.
